Atlanta Advanced Industry Workshop | Sep 24 - 25
This class takes place in person at our Los Angeles studio and is taught by Howard Fine! You must submit an application for consideration. Please read through all details before starting your application. The link to apply can be found below. The deadline to submit is November 2nd, but spots are likely to be filled before then. We recommend applying as soon as possible. This intensive is open to all local actors but is particularly great for those who live outside the LA area as well. It provides an excellent opportunity to participate in an advanced-level class over four consecutive days. This class is a deep dive into scene work catered to the film & Television actor as well as the theatre actor. Students are assigned a scene partner and a script to work on over the duration of the four days. This class takes the fundamentals taught in the technique course and gives the actor the opportunity to put it all into practice. While students are not required to have completed the 6-week Acting Technique course in order to take this class, it is encouraged. Student's who have not had previous studio training should read Howard's Book, Fine on Acting, before the class begins.
Ongoing in-person scene study class where actors work on partnered scenes from plays, published monologues/solo pieces, or object exercises from Uta Hagen’s A Challenge for the Actor. Students are guaranteed to work each class; class size limited.

Film Actors Workshop
virtual CLASSES
Four-week staged combat intensive covering conditioning, safe punches, kicks, elbows, knees, head-butts, basic wrestling/street fighting holds, and fight choreography for film, television, and stage.
Three-month online class using the same nine-lesson Technique curriculum as the in-studio classes, followed by three weeks of scene study. Meets via Zoom once a week.
Nine-week in-person Technique program focused on developing the actor’s instrument through concentration, imagination, relaxation, exercises and improvisation. Students start in Technique and then transition into Scene Study.
