The 6-Week Acting Technique program is an accelerated course which covers BOTH the foundations of acting technique and audition technique. Foundations include personalization, sensory work, emotional recall, concentration, Uta Hagen’s Object Exercises, Howard Fine’s 8 steps for script analysis and role preparation, scene study, and more. Audition technique includes assigned audition scripts, self-tapes for critique, applying Howard’s approach to Film & Television sides, and grounding without props.

All work is geared for television and film. Classes cover on-camera techniques, cold reading, and audition skills across sit-com, feature films, and commercials. Each actor works every class individually on camera. Video of work available after each class. All new actors are asked to make a 2 month commitment; after first 8 weeks, month to month.

This 2-Day Intensive takes place in-person at our Los Angeles studio and is taught by AmSAT certified Alexander Technique teachers, Jennifer Schulz & Nick George. Introductory weekend intensive covering foundational principles of the Alexander Technique for actors; covers the first half of the 8-week course condensed into two days.
