This is an ongoing course that will introduce each student to Susan Giosa's unique emotional technique. In this class you will confront your inner conflicts and address your relationship to judgement. TECHNIQUE 1 is designed to be a tool for actors to tap into their emotional instruments and truly connect to the emotional stakes and struggles of their characters. You will then apply these exercises to scripted material. This course is mandatory for all new students.

Online ZOOM class is offered for all levels. This is a combined class and students must already know Susan's warm-up to participate. Actors may pay for private coaching online to learn Susan's unique technique before joining the online class. Actors participate from all over the world. This class includes Audition technique by working on TV and film scripts and monologue and Scene Study work. Script analysis is taught and applied to all material.

ADVANCED SCENE STUDY is open to actors by instructor approval. This class is geared towards working professional actors and advanced actors. Class begins with the warm-up, followed by work and critiques on scenes and monologues scheduled for the day. Susan’s warmup can be learned in a private coaching or by taking a month of Technique 1.

After completing TECHNIQUE 1, students may advance to TECHNIQUE 2, a deeper exploration of the exercises introduced in TECHNIQUE I. Focus becomes more geared toward intentions, sensory work, improvisation, animal work, and character development. This course will also include Scene Study where Susan believes an actor truly learns to master leading roles.
