101AB - Foundational - 6 Tool Player

Based on feedback and test groups, 6 Tool Player is the redesigned and upgraded foundational workshop. This is for anyone looking to start, refresh, dust-off, or explore long form improv in a small class, multi-modality, high rep environment. Class Size: Max 9 Garden Tier Pricing: Inclusive pricing options to advance opportunities. Instructor: Jake Jabbour In baseball, a six tool player is someone who has speed, can hit for power, hit consistently, throw, field, and demonstrates mental dexterity on the field. For improv, this translates to initiating, receiving, exploring, supporting, heightening, and persisting. This workshop will introduce you to and give you reps in all six areas. As opposed to our former foundational workshops, we will be exploring both organic improv (no opening) and premise improv (opening). You’ll develop and understanding and comfort with long form setting you up for fun in your improv journey. Before you book

  • Ask whether you can audit or try a single class before committing to a full session.
  • No class can guarantee representation, auditions or roles. Be cautious of any that suggests it can.
  • Be careful with workshops where you pay to perform for casting directors. California law limits charging performers for audition or job opportunities. Know the rules and red flags.
